To welcome the Year of the Boar, MIG Group CEO Dato’ Brian Wee and Group COO Dato’ Stanley Wong feted 235 of their business partners and members to a sumptuous dinner at Sunway Putra Hotel on 16 February 2019.

Guests came in their most vibrant festive attire. They were greeted at the door by an Ang Bao Surprise Lucky Draw and proceeded to toss the customary lou sang to the new year, showering luck, abundance and fortune on all.

They were then treated to a spirited performance by the “Master of Opera Malaysia” from Pat Woh Association Malaysia and a melodious Chinese orchestral show by the Regal Orchestra Oriental Band.

VIP guests at the event included the advisor of MIG Group, Yang Di Mulia Tengku Kin Eezaz; former transport minister, Tan Sri Dato Sri Ong Tee Keat; managing director of Gintell (M) Sdn Bhd, Dato’ Goh Cheh Yak; executive director of Healthland Wellness Center, Patrick Wee; and managing director of So Good (Global) Sdn Bhd, Walter Goh.

Dato’ Stanley unveiled MIG’s new app, which allows members to manage their MIG portfolios on the go and keep themselves up to date with the latest news and exclusive invites to MIG events. Long term investors will also be rewarded with membership privileges and rewards. Dato’ Brian then took to the stage to share a new business opportunity, which was quickly snapped up by savvy MIG members.

The main highlight of the evening was the Special Lucky Draw where the winning guests took home fabulous prizes worth up to RM490,000! Up for grabs were holiday trips to Maldives, Tokyo, Korea and Turkey, on top of smartphones and designer bags.

The underprivileged were not forgotten, as charity is always at the heart of MIG. Guests were introduced to the plight of Bodhi Home Care, whose fifty residents comprise children and old folks, and were encouraged to contribute to support the home’s expenses.
