Vinstella – the amalgamated name of its husband-and-wife founders, Vincent Tay and Stella Ng – has a romantic beginning. Vincent wanted to purchase a diamond ring for his then-girlfriend Stella with his very first salary, but exorbitant price tags kept him from fulfilling his desire. Not one to give up easily, he then started his mission to find quality yet affordable jewelry pieces that would bedazzle the recipients but still within the financial reach of their givers.
The couple ventured into the jewelry business in 1999, and four years later, the Vinstella brand was officially introduced to the market. From its first outlet in Penang International Airport, the brand has steadily grown to 13 outlets across five states in Malaysia.
“Our expertise is centered on creating beautiful, timeless jewelry with marked by excellent craftmanship,” said Vincent. “Each piece in our collections is a charming mix of elements from our brand’s 20-year heritage, which we pair with timeless design and crafting techniques.
Vinstella is casting its vision beyond the borders, and eyeing to be the finest fashion forward jewelry brand in South East Asia. The market growth in the region is driven by rising fashion consciousness among consumers, and its affordability and low-maintenance costs.
“With MIG as its strategic consulting partner, Vinstella aims to strengthen our market position and expand our footprint across Malaysia and international market.”
